Ernie Mack

President | Anmark

-

As President of Anmark, Ernie leads an incredibly unique, engineering-focused aerospace manufacturing business. He is hands-on in all aspects of Anmark, from managing customer relationships to overseeing the day-to-day operations. In addition, Ernie played an instrumental role in developing and launching Anmark Technologies, a new division that produces Curvic CNC machines that manufacture Curvic couplings and gauges.

Ernie began his tenure with Anmark as the Manufacturing/Engineering manager in 2012.  Under his leadership, Anmark has expanded its global presence and has established itself as the world leader in Curvic manufacturing.  In addition to his daily responsibilities, Ernie sits on Anmark’s board of directors. He also assisted in expanding the company’s manufacturing capacity and capabilities.  Ernie continues to lead the sales, engineering, production control efforts and has been a key contact with Anmark’s customer base.  As the founder of Anmark transitioned toward retirement, Ernie was a natural fit to transition into the role of President early in 2018.

Ernie started his career in the aerospace sector in 1994 after graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.  During college, he worked in a materials engineering/testing laboratory performing machining and mechanical testing of aerospace materials.  He has purposefully spent his entire career in small businesses primarily due to the ability to react quickly and efficiently when a customer needs a problem solved.  His experience covers a broad range of disciplines from purchasing, supply chain management, production control, manufacturing processing, CAD, and Quality in both the Repair Station and Manufacturing realms.  He has been the leader of two 14 CFR Part 145 repair station startups as well as one 14 CFR Part 21.303 PMA company.  Experience with the FAA on both the repair and manufacturing platforms bolsters the company’s position in the market.

Passions outside of the workplace include the building and flying of giant scale model airplanes with his youngest son, primarily in the scale aerobatic segment of the hobby.  Fishing, hiking, camping and outdoor cooking are other areas of interest for relaxation.
