FAR FROM ORDINARY

Senior Front End Developer

Outlier uses creativity and capital to buy, start and grow exceptional businesses. We are one of the largest private companies in the US but likely different than you’ve seen before. We buy and grow businesses that are leaders in their niches. We also start our own businesses when we see opportunities where we can’t take advantage of through acquisition. Over 12,000 people work under our brands every day, driving $1B in revenue. Yet despite our scale, we remain flat and nimble with hands-on leadership, operations and a focus on measurable results. Our brands span multiple industries including healthcare, real estate, entertainment, consumer durables and aerospace, with a specialty in building franchise organizations.

We offer significant growth opportunities across our network of businesses, promoting from within whenever possible. We don’t pay attention to formalities or backgrounds – if you can get the job done, we want you here.

The Senior Front End Developer will have a key role in combining the art of design with the art of programming on the proprietary, cloud-based systems for at least one of the Outlier businesses including real estate, healthcare and/or entertainment. The Senior Front End Developer will not only help in building, but will also be translating UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce the visual elements of the application. Bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions is a key function for the successful Senior Front End Developer. The Senior Front End Developer will report to the Vice President of Technology and will work with specific Technology Project Managers to complete their assigned work.
