Allan Henry

Allan Henry is the President of Atlas Packs, a revolutionary new line of camera backpacks. He started the company alongside Outlier CEO David Tedesco, helping to design and launch the very first bags on the market to accommodate all the equipment of an outdoor photographer while providing significant space for outdoor gear. Under Allan’s leadership, Atlas Packs has received numerous awards and reviews including “Camera bag of the Year” from National Geographic.

Allan, a professional outdoor photographer, was a natural fit to run Atlas Packs. He believes companies should spend more time listening to their customers than marketing to them.  He frequently engages one-to-one with customers, leading to multiple product improvements which are often named for the customers who suggest them.  He is very hands-on, responsible for day-to-day operations, sales, marketing, customer service as well as ongoing product design and development.

Allan first met David Tedesco during his time at Intrasight, a cloud-based marketing service provider which David founded with fellow Outlier Jeff Walters. Allan is also a celebrated sports photographer, frequently seen on the greens of the Phoenix Open or doing headshots for MLB teams.

Allan earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona. He has a passion for yoga and lives for spending time with his wife and boys.
