Jason Spear is the President of the Entertainment Group at Outlier, though in true Outlier fashion, he is also responsible for delivering data-driven insights and strategies that align investments with ROI impacts across the portfolio companies. He brings 20+ years of experience in the areas of data mining, business intelligence, database programming, product development, customer profiling, predictive analytics and strategic marketing through delivering exceptional bottom-line success to fortune 500 companies.
Prior to joining Outlier, Jason delivered business development, product innovations and massive growth for several cloud-based marketing service providers including Intrasight, founded by David Tedesco and Jeff Walters. Leading a team of data scientists, Jason produced sophisticated strategic playbooks to improve acquisition, customer retention and share of wallet for world-class brands including Aramark, Bed Bath & Beyond, Calvin Klein, CVS, Comcast, Dr Pepper/7Up, Four Seasons, Hanes, HomeAway, JEGS, Kraft Sports Group, Leading Hotels of the World, Northwestern Mutual, Quaker Oats, Santander and Visa.
Prior to working for cloud-based marketing service providers, Jason worked as a consultant for five years with Accenture, where he implemented enterprise-wide solutions for companies like Verizon and ConocoPhillips.
For over 130+ brands Jason has identified areas of the business that can benefit through cost savings or increased revenue from better leveraging data-driven solutions. He graduated magna cum laude from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University in both Marketing and Management. His hobbies include reading, martial arts, traveling, and spending time with his wife and kids.
